Cover Supervisor job summary

Brookside Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Cover Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be conscientious and organised with a passion for working with and motivating children. We are also looking for someone who is committed to providing high quality education for children in years 5 and 6 particularly, and has a sound knowledge of the KS2 curriculum with a focus around English & Maths. They will be able to build excellent relationships with our older children.

This role will involve teaching cover as and when required, group work, one to one support, Teaching Assistant duties and lunchtime supervision. We are looking for someone who can inspire and empower pupils to take an active part in their own learning. Teamwork at Brookside is essential so we will be looking for someone with excellent personable skills and a team player.

The role is 30 hours per week, term-time plus one week (39 weeks in total).
