Cover Supervisor job summary
We want to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and forward-looking Cover Supervisor who can contribute to the development of this successful Academy.
This post involves:
- Providing cover for absent staff.
- Supporting groups and individuals in and out of the classroom, including those with SEN.
- Assisting teaching staff to ensure that the aims and objectives of the school are achived.
This is an ideal post for someone wishing to work in an education environment. You will be flexible, quick thinking, well organised and able to prioritise your time well. You will enjoy variety and be passionate about creating opportunities for our fantastic young people.

Burton End converted to Academy status in November 2014 and takes pupils from 3 to 11 years of age.
Burton End first opened in 1968 as a Community Primary School. We also have a well-staffed and well-equipped 48 place Nursery.
We are part of the Unity Schools Partnership and are working closely with other academies within the partnership. Our aim is to provide children with a curriculum that enthuses them and provides them with the knowledge and skills they need to be successful in today’s society.
