Cover Supervisor job summary

The Cover Supervisor, who reports to the Professional Development Lead, is responsible for covering lessons due to the absence of colleagues and ensuring that these lessons are a well organised and relevant learning experience for all students. The post holder cover lessons and tutor time sessions and support the day to day running of the school.

The Cover Supervisor will be a successful and experienced person able to enthuse, motivate and inspire children from socially, ethnically and religiously diverse backgrounds, with the confidence to support the departments they are covering. The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellent communication skills and teamwork in their present role.
