We are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers and provide support for students, ensuring their safety and access to learning.
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to:
- To supervise students engaged in learning activities to ensure that the learning objectives set by the teacher are achieved.
- To ensure the good behaviour of the pupils and make sure the pupils engage in the pre-set learning activity.
- To act as a role model and set high expectations of conduct to ensure that good behaviour is maintained.

Commitment to safeguarding
At Stone Lodge our approach to safeguarding is child-centred and we consider at all times the best interest of the child.
We have a designated safeguarding lead, who provides support to staff members to carry out their safeguarding duties and liaises with other agencies such as children’s social care.
Mr Barnett is also a safeguarding lead and regular meetings are held to discuss any ongoing safeguarding or welfare concerns.
All staff members receive safeguarding and child protection training which is regularly updated.
