As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. You will supervise classes, deliver pre-planned lessons, and ensure students remain engaged, motivated, and on task.

You’ll be a key member of our team, supporting both students and staff to promote a positive, inclusive, and orderly learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons to whole classes and maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement
  • Manage classroom activities and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Support students’ academic progress, wellbeing, and development
  • Monitor and report on student progress, behaviour, and achievements
  • Assist with administrative tasks and student support when not covering lessons
  • Supervise students during lessons, breaks, and school activities
  • Support safeguarding, inclusion, and the wellbeing of all students
  • Act as a positive role model, promoting high expectations and values within the school
