Are you passionate about supporting young people to succeed? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? Callington Community College is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team.
In this rewarding role, you will supervise lessons during short-term teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged, focused and productive. You'll play a vital part in maintaining a positive learning environment while supporting students' progress and wellbeing across a range of subjects.
We're Looking For Someone Who:- Enjoys working with young people and building positive relationships.
- Has excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- Is confident, adaptable and able to think on their feet.
- Can motivate and support students to achieve their best.
- Works well as part of a team and demonstrates initiative.
- Shares our commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
- Experience working with secondary-age students in a learning environment.
- Strong organisational and ICT skills.
- A calm, professional approach and the ability to promote high standards of behaviour and learning.
