Cover Supervisor job summary
Job Title: Cover Supervisor
- Deliver pre-set lesson materials across a range of subjects
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Take registers and supervise students throughout lessons
- Support pupils to stay focused and complete set work
- Uphold a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
Pay range: SCP12-17 - £25,152.73 - £27,284.70 - FTE: £28,598.00 - £31,022.00 - 37 hours, 39 weeks per year
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- A-Level qualifications or a degree (desirable)
- Previous experience working with young people or in an educational setting (advantageous but not essential)
- Relevant training in education, childcare, or youth work (desirable)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
