Cover Supervisor job summary

We are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor for 37 Hours per Week, on a Term Time only basis to join our team at Barlby High School.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, inspirational individual, and who is passionate about outstanding education and developing the whole child.

This role will manage planned absence requests and day-to-day absences of teaching and support staff. To provide short term cover for absent teaching staff, allocating pre-prepared work, keeping students on task and managing the behaviour of students during lessons. The role does not involve planning, preparing, delivering lessons or assessing and reporting on the development progress and attainment of students.

This role is ideal for those considering a career in teaching, gaining classroom experience across a breadth of subjects and year groups.
