Cover Supervisor job summary

Cover Supervisor required as soon as possible to work Monday to Thursday.


We are seeking an experienced primary cover supervisor/ HLTA to join our Hillside Team. As the Cover Supervisor/ HLTA for our school, you will be covering scheduled PPA across KS1 and KS2 and supporting groups of children by delivering intervention and additional learning support.

The ideal candidate:

  • has a good understanding of the primary National Curriculum.
  • has experience covering classes from Foundation to Year 6.
  • is able to lead quality lessons through planning provided.
  • has a passion for teaching.
  • has a willingness to learn and progress
  • is able to communicate effectively with others, have fun and be part of an amazing team

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
