What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their potential? We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our welcoming academy community. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning, fostering a positive classroom environment, and supporting pupils to engage confidently with their studies. Through your work, you will help create the conditions for every student to flourish.
About You
- Level 2 (GCSE A-C) or equivalent in English and Maths
- Experience of working in an education setting
- Ability to manage classes effectively, using approaches which are appropriate to pupils’ needs in order to involve and motivate them; including a good understanding of SEN and G&T characteristics.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly outside normal hours if necessary
- Confidence in using IT systems and software relevant to the role.
- A commitment to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of pupils.

This opportunity is open to a full year or a term time contract, to be discussed at the interview stage. During school closures the successful candidate would complete educational administrative tasks.
