Working in classrooms directly with our students, our Cover Supervisors play a pivotal supporting role in raising standards of achievement.
The Successful candidate will provide high-quality cover to classes in the absence of the teacher, supervise classes across the curriculum following a programme of study during the short-term absence of their class teacher, actively engage with the class and follow all classroom procedures as per the classroom teachers' instructions.
You will be conscientious and self-motivated and always working to support and motivate students. You will become a role model for our students and instill high expectations from the work you will be asking the students to complete.
The ideal candidate will have:
Good educational background with experience of subject background
Knowledge of using different IT software
Relevant experience of working with young people in a learning environment
A clear and positive communication manner
Enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team, as well as on own initiative
Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and professionally with staff, students, parents, and other outside agencies
Ability to remain calm and professional at all times
Support the School policies on safeguarding and child protection
Flexibility of working hours, committed and reliable with excellent timekeeping
Full training will be provided.
