Location: Stamford, Lincolnshire
Contract Type: Term-Time Only plus one additional week
Start Date: 1st September 2025 (earlier start date may be available for the right candidate)

🎯 The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor with a strong sports background to join our dedicated team. This unique role combines classroom supervision with active involvement in our Physical Education department, making it ideal for someone passionate about education and sport.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring a calm and productive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Support the PE department in delivering high-quality sports lessons and extracurricular activities.
  • Assist in organising and leading school sports events, clubs, and inter-school competitions.
  • Act as a positive role model, promoting healthy lifestyles and teamwork.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in coaching or instructing sports (school, club, or community level).
  • A passion for working with young people and helping them succeed.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour confidently and professionally.
  • A relevant sports qualification or degree is desirable but not essential.
