Cover Supervisor job summary

Required for September 2024, two full-time Cover Supervisors (37 hours per week each) although part-time hours would be considered and may be combined with any other role we have available.

The role is to manage the classroom and supervise the students when teaching staff are absent, ensuring that students remain on task and engaged with their work.

Cover Supervisors will also be expected to promote good behaviour using our Behaviour Management procedures, create a positive learning environment, report back any behavioural or other issues, and follow College policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety and confidentiality.

We are looking for applicants who have:

* experience of working with children and addressing large groups

* a caring, flexible, resilient professional approach

* an understanding of the teaching and learning process
