What skills and experience we're looking for
Our governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Cover Team leader
to support our learners across the federation of schools. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the
necessary skills and enthusiasm to both assign and provide short term cover
supervision of lessons as required. This is a unique role which will involve
working with outside supply agencies to organise cover for staff absence. We are looking for
an individual with excellent organisation skills, attention to detail and the
flexibility and skills to support students with learning when their class
teachers are absent.
We would be interested in hearing from you if:
You have previous experience of working with children of secondary and primary school age;
You have enthusiasm and a strong commitment to achievement, safeguarding and welfare of all children;
You have excellent communication skills;
You have a sense of humour and the ability to inject fun into learning;
You have high expectations of pupil behaviour and excellent behaviour management skills;
You are flexible, accommodating and a team player; and
You have relevant qualifications for the role.
