What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to support the College in continuing to deliver excellent education to our students.

We are passionate about providing an excellent experience for everyone within the College community and strongly believe that high quality support to our teaching staff is a key factor in ensuring the welfare and academic success of our students. We welcome applications to this post from a variety of experience and backgrounds, whether you already working with young people and feel this role would support your development or if you have aspirations to become a teacher in the longer-term and feel this role will give you valuable experience, we’d like to hear from you.

You will:

    • be enthusiastic about giving young people the best possible start in life;
    • Have experience of working with children or young people, ideally in a school setting;
    • be professional, enthusiastic, self-motivating and able to demonstrate flexibility in your approach;
    • be confident to lead the learning of class groups;
    • have a caring and patient nature, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
    • be a team player, and be able to contribute to the shared responsibility ethos of our school;
