What skills and experience we're looking for
The Headteacher of Thorpedene Primary School and Nursery and the CEO of Southend East Community Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor. The postholder will work across the school, to provide cover for teachers when they are absent from the classroom, delivering lessons planned by themselves and/or the class teacher, and reporting on development,progress and attainment.
It is essential that the successful candiidate have GCSE Maths and English or equivalent at Grade C or 4 as well as previous experience working in a primary school. It is desirable that the successful candidate have experience of leading whole class teaching.
