As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged and on task.

  • Compiling and maintaining pastoral data to support student well-being and progress.

  • Creating vibrant and inspiring displays around the school to enhance the learning environment.

  • Undertaking general administrative duties to support the smooth running of the school.

  • Accompanying staff and students on educational visits, enriching their learning experiences.

What we are looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is well-organised, self-confident, and motivated, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a minimum of 4 relevant qualifications at a level equivalent to GCSE Grade C and above, including Maths and English.

  • Ideally possess the Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification or equivalent.

  • Have at least two years' experience working with children in an educational setting, either in a paid or voluntary capacity.

  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Possess sound IT skills to support administrative tasks and classroom activities.
