What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a Cover Teacher to support Teaching and Learning within the Academy. The position could be seen as an ideal transition to a career in teaching or similar and offers the opportunity to develop skills within a supportive education setting.

As a cover teacher you will;

  • Cover lessons for absent colleagues;
  • Prepare and deliver work programmes to groups or individual pupils;
  • Assist with classroom activity;
  • Promote development and learning (physical, emotional, educational).
