We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Creative Technology Technician, with a can-do attitude. You will work within a creative environment and support colleagues in the Creative Technology Faculty, preparing resources and assisting the team with practical lessons, demonstrations and exhibitions

Right now, we are on a significant journey: our most recent academic results were less than we hoped for, so we’ve embarked on a process of transformation with new processes and a whole new level of ambition. We are revisiting the heart of learning and building the best provision around contemporary educational research to achieve great outcomes for our children.

As a small secondary school in the area, we have built a unique sense of community based on our Christian values. This a place where everyone – students and staff alike – look out for everyone else. Our children are exceptionally loyal to their teachers, yet that loyalty must be earned, so you’ll need great people skills and a real passion for teaching and learning.

One of our greatest strengths is our exceptionally rich extracurricular programme, including the Greenpower racing team and Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. In short, we do whatever it takes to realise our pupils’ potential and we’re confident we’ll soon capture your imagination.

We’re equally committed to releasing the talents of our teachers, so you can be assured that we’ll invest heavily in your professional development. Being part of the Enlighten Learning Trust, allows for unique opportunities to share best practices and pioneer innovative approaches to learning. Add in a welcoming and supportive environment and an exceptionally supportive Head who loves to collaborate, and you have all the ingredients for a challenging, stimulating and rewarding future.

You can also expect some outstanding facilities and opportunities, including a two-week October half term, access to an indoor swimming pool, and the chance to participate in overseas excursions including ski trips. What’s more, you’ll be based in elegant Dorking in the heart of the beautiful Surrey hills, with excellent travel connections and easy access to London.

If you are excited by an opportunity to make a difference and join a school that is on a journey of rapid improvement with the challenge and learning that brings, then we would love to meet and welcome you to our team.
