What skills and experience we're looking for
It is an exciting time to join our Oak community, with rapidly growing student numbers, and a complete new build as part of the Governments School Rebuilding Programme. Plans are well advanced for a complete rebuild of the current site. We are delighted that staff and students will finally have the building they deserve, with a planned completion date of September 2024. We are looking for candidates to join us on this journey who are dynamic, passionate and ambitious, with a commitment to improving life chances of our students.

As we continue to grow as a school community, we are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity for a leader of humanities. We are looking for an inspirational leader who is able to build on existing strengths within individual departments and further develop the interdisciplinary opportunities presented by coherent curriculum planning across humanities subjects. You would be leading a team of teachers committed to their professional learning and development and supported by membership of subject specific professional associations. This role would be ideal for a confident subject leader, looking to further develop their role across humanities and embrace a new challenge.
