CURRICULUM AREA LEADER (Head of) SCIENCE

TLR 1b (£12,036), negotiable for a truly exceptional candidate.
Required for January 2026, Jack Hunt Academy is seeking a dedicated and ambitious Teacher to be our next Curriculum Area Lead for Science.
The successful candidate will lead a large team of teachers, which includes specialist Curriculum Leads in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, into the next phase of development.
Science is hugely popular at Jack Hunt School. With our A-Level courses experiencing tremendous popularity, we now have more Year 12 students choosing to study science than ever before.
The department has excellent facilities and technical support with a highly experienced and supportive team of technicians.
We provide a highly effective environment for professional growth, including ongoing in-house professional development and training opportunities.
Jack Hunt School is a successful, oversubscribed 11 – 18 comprehensive school. Located in Peterborough, we cater to over 1,900 students from across the city and surrounding areas, improving life chances of children through providing exceptional education.
