We are looking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and dedicated instructor to lead our curriculum enhancement programme. The successful candidate will be our Duke of Edinburgh lead, plan our Primary curriculum enhancement; plan, organise and lead the Secondary CE curriculum and activities, plan and assist in organising Year Group Camps and end of year Project weeks across the school. The ideal candidate will have experience of and / or an aptitude for working with pupils with SEMH. The successful candidate will be innovative and flexible in their approaches to learning.
Bure Park Specialist Academy is a residential SEMH Academy for boys from Year 2 through to Year 11. The multi-disciplinary team consists of Care Staff, Teachers and TAs who facilitate the Academy’s aims of re-integrating pupils into their home environment and when appropriate mainstream school. Pupils arrive at the school with disrupted educational experiences and complex difficulties and our team are responsible for ensuring that they leave with superb outcomes academically, socially and behaviourally.

The successful applicant must be prepared to undergo any further training as requested by the Trust and will be subject to an enhanced disclosure through the Disclosure and Barring Service. This post is likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations, therefore you will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether disqualified under these regulations.
