Kingsway Park High School is seeking to appoint an exceptional Curriculum Lead for Religious Studies to lead the strategic development of this important subject area and inspire students through a rich, ambitious and engaging curriculum.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher and aspiring or established middle leader who is passionate about Religious Studies and committed to ensuring every student develops the knowledge, understanding and critical thinking skills needed to thrive in a diverse and ever-changing world.
As Curriculum Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Religious Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will lead curriculum design, champion high standards of teaching and learning, and drive student achievement through strong subject leadership and a relentless focus on excellence.

Drive Curriculum Excellence
Lead the development and implementation of an ambitious and intellectually challenging Religious Studies curriculum.
Ensure curriculum content is carefully sequenced and enables students to develop secure knowledge and understanding over time.
Promote the importance and relevance of Religious Studies within the wider school curriculum.
Inspire Outstanding Teaching and Learning
Model highly effective classroom practice and demonstrate a genuine passion for the subject.
Support and develop colleagues to deliver consistently high-quality teaching.
Use assessment intelligently to raise standards and secure excellent outcomes for all students.
Champion Student Achievement
Maintain high expectations for progress, engagement and behaviour.
Analyse performance data to identify priorities and implement effective improvement strategies.
Ensure all students, regardless of their starting points, are supported and challenged to succeed
Lead and Develop Others
Foster a collaborative culture within the subject area.
Provide coaching, guidance and professional support to colleagues.
Contribute positively to whole-school improvement and leadership initiatives.
