What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an outstanding Teacher of Chemistry who has the ambition and drive to lead a high performing team. You will have high expectations of both pupils and staff, as well as demonstrating an excellent subject knowledge and being passionate about chemistry education.

Our Science Department has a long history of success with KS4 and KS5 outcomes and achievement, where students regularly go on to study science disciplines at university. As Curriculum Lead for Chemistry, you would be working alongside a Curriculum Lead of Physics and Head of Department, who is a Biology specialist, as well as an established team of scientists.

You will be leading the development of curriculum within chemistry and looking at opportunities to further engage with students across the whole school to promote a love for the subject.
