Lady Manners School is a Foundation School with 1400 students on roll including 230 in the Sixth Form. This post provides an outstanding opportunity for an innovative and highly committed leader to manage and further develop our highly successful English Language Curriculum Area

The successful candidate will:

  • have a vision for the development of English Language across the 11-18 age range and the leadership ability to ensure that this vision is met
  • have the skills and determination to lead initiatives at a curriculum area level, support teaching and learning across the faculty and promote English Language at every opportunity
  • be an outstanding classroom teacher, providing engaging and creative learning experiences for all students
  • be able to inspire students of all abilities and ages to achieve their highest potential
  • be committed to raising the achievement of every student
  • have a successful record of working in teams
  • be committed to maintaining and developing the wide range of extra-curricular opportunities in English Language
  • has experience of teaching English Language at all key stages, including A Level
