Curriculum Leader for English job summary
Following the relocation of our existing post holder we are looking to appoint a passionate and experienced teacher who is keen to take the next steps in their career. You will lead the English Department to build upon their existing success and ensure that our track record for outstanding results at GCSE in both GCSE English Language and Literature can be secured for future cohorts of our students.
In 2019 our Progress 8 score for English was +0.66 and 44% of our students achieved a grade 9-7 in Literature. 90% of our students achieved a grade 9-4 in English. The teacher assessed process has indicated that these standards were maintained throughout the disruption caused by COVID 19. Our team of English specialists have well established team planning systems and work collaboratively to develop the engaging and effective English curriculum we have in place at both Key Stages 3 and 4.
