What skills and experience we're looking for

Bruntcliffe Academy are seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Curriculum Leader of Geography. This role is of great importance to our work as an Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and inspiring students across Key Stage 3 and 4 to achieve their potential across a range of exciting and evolving subjects.

  • A successful record of teaching with very good exam results at one or more of KS3 & KS4 (applicants who already have gained QTS)
  • A detailed knowledge of current developments in education including the use of the Pupil Premium
  • The ability to put vision into practice.

Bruntcliffe Academy is an increasingly popular 11-16 comprehensive school with approximately 1400 students on roll. The school is situated in Morley which is on the outskirts of the thriving city of Leeds, with a very good motorway access to all areas of the north of England and beyond.
