We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, talented and innovative Curriculum Leader for Music, with excellent communication skills and the ability to teach across the full age and ability range at Key Stages 3 and 4 within a well-resourced department. The successful applicant will share our vision for excellence and be committed to raising achievement for all pupils.

Teaching at Cams Hill School follows The Cams Hill Way; shared routines and expectations, an aligned curriculum, and standardised resources. The principles of the Cams Hill Lesson include teaching to the top, equitable questioning, and adaptive teaching, using strategies that are necessary for some and beneficial for all.

Leaders at Cams Hill School embody our values of courtesy, courage, and commitment. The Curriculum Leader is responsible for curriculum, teaching, and assessment within their subject area, delivering high-quality CPL for colleagues and leading rigorous quality assurance to secure the very best educational experiences for our pupils. In addition, the Curriculum Leader for Music oversees peripatetic music provision and manages visiting music staff.
