Cardinal Newman School is an 11-19 comprehensive school with Specialist Science Status, serving the Roman Catholic community in Luton and Dunstable. We are one of the most successful schools in Luton and have a thriving 6th form with 300 students. We have been consistently described by Ofsted as a ‘good’ school and under Section 48 as an ‘outstanding Catholic school’.

We are looking for a highly motivated and inspiring Curriculum Leader to enthuse and engage a team of excellent teachers, build upon the high standards already achieved and continue the growth and development of this faculty.

The ideal candidate will impact on education progress of pupils in the whole department of Physical Education and will lead, develop, enhance and monitor the teaching practice within these departments. Whether you are currently in a leadership role or looking to take the next step-up in your career, this post is an excellent opportunity for you to really make a difference on your journey to senior leadership.

The ideal candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner, able to display leadership skills that encourage staff to be creative and develop rich and exciting lessons. The person appointed will be an ambitious leader with a clear vision of what an outstanding Physical Education Faculty should look like and will have the talent to deliver on this vision.
