Curriculum Support Officer (Cover Supervisor) job summary

About the Curriculum Support Officer Role

We are seeking to appoint a Curriculum Support Officer to supervise whole classes undertaking pre-prepared activities on a lesson by lesson basis in departments across the Academy.

The primary focus of the role is to keep pupils on task with lessons that are being covered and maintaining a purposeful and orderly learning environment for pupils.

Emphasis for the successful candidate will be on creating positive relationships with students and operating in a climate of mutual respect and high expectations. Curriculum Support Officers will be expected to uphold these principles in this role.

The Curriculum Support Officer role can be a great stepping stone into teaching for the right candidate.
