Curriculum Team Leader MFL job summary
The Corsham School Academy Group seeks to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Curriculum Team Leader of MFL to deliver exceptional teaching and learning to our students, and help to lead continued improvements in GCSE and A Level outcomes. A passion for your subject as well as a desire to make a difference are essential. The successful candidate will model excellent practice, have students’ progress at the forefront of their teaching, will lead on curriculum development in their subject specialism and have a willingness to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school. The main language taught in KS3 is French, with taster experiences introduced in both German and Spanish. At GCSE there are always classes in French and usually in German and/or Spanish. At A Level there is usually a French group and this year there is a German A level group too. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional teacher to join us and make a significant contribution to our school.
A strong commitment to raising achievement and standards is required along with an informed and creative approach to curriculum delivery.
