This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Head of Science to lead a successful Science department and drive strong outcomes for students across Key Stages 3–5.

Strong teamwork skills, professionalism, and the desire to contribute fully to a successful department are essential. You should demonstrate high expectations for students and a firm commitment to collaborative working within a supportive team.

You will also have a strong student focused approach, be committed to high-quality teaching and continuous improvement, and demonstrate a genuine passion for Science education. You will be joining a successful school with a strong ethos, where both staff and students are supported to achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across the department, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, achievement, and student engagement. They will play a key role in shaping an ambitious and inclusive Science curriculum that supports academic excellence and fosters curiosity about the world around us.
