West Lakes Academy has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly organised individual to join our support staff team as Curriculum Technicians' Manager. This is a key role within the academy, responsible for leading and managing the technician team while ensuring the delivery of high-quality curriculum support across departments.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience of working as a technician within a school or similar educational environment.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Have a sound knowledge of health and safety requirements, including CLEAPSS and COSHH guidance.
  • Be capable of managing resources, equipment and budgets effectively.
  • Have excellent organisational, communication and ICT skills.
  • Be able to provide specialist technical advice and support to colleagues.
  • Establish positive working relationships with staff and students.
  • Be proactive, flexible and committed to maintaining high standards across all areas of responsibility.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement and best practice.
  • Share our commitment to supporting students to achieve their full potential.
