What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for:

  • Previous experience in a data-driven environment
  • Previous experience with administrative, analytics and reporting systems
  • An understanding of the importance of safeguarding in education
  • An understanding of data protection requirements
  • High levels of numeracy and literacy
  • Exceptional critical-thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to communicate data to non-experts
  • Excellent organisational skills, and an ability to manage and prioritise your own workload
  • The ability to build strong working relationships across a large organisation and with external partners
  • The ability to think creatively, and to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to the role
  • A strong commitment to the over-arching priority of improving outcomes for learners
  • A flexible and enthusiastic approach to new challenges
  • A solution-focused attitude to problems and challenges

Summit Learning Trust are looking to appoint a highly motivated Data Manager to join our central Data Team.

Good-quality, reliable data underpins everything we do – from delivering excellent teaching and pastoral provision for our learners to offering effective support and professional development opportunities for our colleagues.

You will be at the heart of this.

As part of a central team, you will play a vital role in raising standards and improving outcomes for learners and colleagues across our Trust.

Your work will involve managing our data assets, analysing and reporting key insights clearly and concisely. And your findings will shape important decisions that ensure we make a real difference within our academies’ communities and beyond.
