Delivery Driver and Meal Server job summary
The First Federation Trust, a Multi Academy Trust of 29 primary schools across Devon and Dorset. The Trust has its own catering business, Acorn Catering based at Axminster Community Primary in East Devon which supplies freshly cooked meals to a number of the East Devon and West Dorset Trust schools.
We are looking to appoint a committed person to join the Acorn Catering team to collect school meals from Axminster and deliver to Marshwood CE Primary Academy and then serve the meals to the children. A moderate amount of lifting is necessary in the role when handling the thermal boxes and setting up/taking down the dining hall furniture.
The responsibilities in the role include:
Collecting boxes and loading own vehicle with school meals from Acorn Catering and deliver to Marshwood CE Primary Academy
Preparation of servery counters and dining area for service
Serve the meals to the children in a friendly and pleasant manner
Wash up and clean the kitchen, servery and dining area as required and return boxes to Acorn Catering
Wearing a uniform as per Trust guidelines
Punctuality for start and finish times
NB: it is an essential you have your own road-worthy vehicle and hold a current full, clean UK driving licence. You will also need to have business on your insurance.
