Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) job summary
We are seeking an exceptional Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to join our dedicated safeguarding team and play a pivotal role in promoting the safety, wellbeing and success of our students.
This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a passionate professional who is committed to making a meaningful difference to the lives of young people, particularly Children in Care (CiC), while leading and developing our mental health and wellbeing provision.
As a key member of our experienced safeguarding team, you will help shape and strengthen our culture of safeguarding excellence, ensuring that every student feels safe, supported and empowered to achieve their full potential. Working closely with staff, families and external agencies, you will champion the needs of our most vulnerable students and drive a whole-school approach to mental health, wellbeing and early intervention.
This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact within a vibrant and inclusive school community where student welfare is at the heart of everything we do.

Moseley School and Sixth Form is a large comprehensive secondary school with a thriving sixth form. Moseley School first opened its doors in 1923.
