Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead job summary
The Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead will take responsibility for safeguarding and child protection, including online safety, at the school. Contribute to creating a safe and welcoming learning environment. Be available during all school hours during term time (in exceptional circumstances outside of school hours) for staff to discuss any safeguarding concerns.
The Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead will have a responsibility for dealing with safeguarding issues, providing advice and support to staff, liaising with the Local Authority, and working with a range of other agencies. The role will encompass aspects of managing referrals, information sharing, raising awareness and training - See Candidate Pack for more information.
