SEND Pupil Pathways Coordinator job summary
We are looking for a compassionate, organised and proactive individual to join our SEND team as a SEND Pupil Pathways Coordinator. This vital role supports some of our most vulnerable learners by ensuring they receive the tailored guidance, interventions and opportunities they need to thrive.
Working closely with the SENDCo, you will help coordinate Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs), contribute to high‑quality support plans, and build strong, positive relationships with pupils, families and external professionals. You’ll play a key role in monitoring progress, supporting transitions, and ensuring every learner has access to the resources, strategies and pathways required to achieve their full potential.
We’re seeking someone who is empathetic, highly organised, and confident in managing a varied and meaningful workload. Strong communication, relationship‑building and administrative skills are essential, alongside a commitment to safeguarding, equality and pupil‑centred practice. If you’re motivated to make a real difference for SEND learners and want to contribute to a supportive, inclusive school culture, we would love to hear from you.
We can offer the successful candidates an opportunity to work with highly trained and supportive staff, as well as a whole school commitment to professional development, since we believe that staff development is a fundamental aspect in raising standards further for our students. Our school community is also a highly rewarding place to work. A comprehensive programme of CPD and a commitment to wellbeing supports colleagues at all career stages; through the School and the Trust, we provide excellent career opportunities for our staff. Colleagues seeking a varied, challenging and rewarding career can find this in the Wade Deacon family.
The Wade Deacon Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory medical clearance.
