We are looking to appoint a Deputy Head of English who will assist the Head of Department in securing high quality teaching, the effective use of resources and improved standards of learning and achievement for all students. What the school offers its staff
The Ripley Academy is an 11-18 school located in Derbyshire close to Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield and within easy reach of the Peak District. We are a member of the East Midlands Education Trust and work in close partnership with the other academies within the Trust including The West Bridgford School and John Flamsteed Community School. In February2020, the school was judged to be an Ofsted ‘Good’ school in all areas.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
