The Governors of Daresbury Primary School are looking to appoint a highly motivated and committed leader to join a caring and dedicated team of staff committed to delivering the highest standards of education.

 We are looking for a resilient leader who will support, challenge and work with us as we take our school into its next stages of growth and development.

 A key focus of the role will be leading Personal Development and Behaviour and Attitudes across the school. Whilst some experience in leadership and development of these would be desirable, it is not essential - it is the right values that we look for; someone who is hard-working, can inspire others and models being a life-long learner.

 Applicants will need to:

 • Have a proven track record of outstanding teaching skills which motivate and inspire children. 

• Demonstrate a commitment to establishing high expectations and ensuring continuous progress.

Thank you for showing interest in our current vacancy for a Deputy Head of School. This vacancy has arisen due to increasing numbers at the school as well as a leadership restructure from September 2022.

Daresbury Primary School is a growing school with 185 children currently on roll, organised into 6 classes but anticipated to be 194 and in 7 classes in September 2022. The long term plans over the next 2 years have us increasing our numbers annually until we reach 210 on roll. These plans also include some new building at the school, so there are exciting times ahead.

You would be joining a staff of over 20 who all work together to help make Daresbury Primary School a happy and positive environment for all of our children, parents and wider community. Your role would involve taking responsibility for a class (year group to be confirmed at a later date) as well as leading on key aspects of the school including Behaviour and Attitudes and Personal Development.
