The Prince Albert Community Trust (PACT) is seeking an inspiring and committed Deputy Head Teacher to join our leadership team and play a key role in driving excellence across at Lakey Lane Primary School. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who is passionate about high-quality education, safeguarding, and community engagement.

Our family of schools consist of Prince Albert Primary School, Heathfield Primary School, Highfield J&I School, Birchfield Primary School, Lakey Lane, Sutton Park Primary and Prince Albert High School. We are a developing MAT, growing steadily with the opportunity for further internal promotion.

About the Role
As Deputy Head Teacher, you will provide strategic leadership that ensures high standards of teaching, learning, and personal development for all pupils. You will help shape an innovative curriculum, embed effective assessment and data systems, and promote a culture where every child thrives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on curriculum development and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Champion safeguarding, maintaining a strong culture of vigilance and compliance.
  • Drive high standards through effective monitoring, target-setting, and behaviour systems.
  • Support, develop, and inspire staff, fostering a collaborative and ambitious working environment.
  • Strengthen relationships with parents, stakeholders, and the wider community.
  • Work collaboratively across all schools within the MAT to ensure consistency, shared practice, and exceptional outcomes.

About You
You will be an experienced school leader with:

  • A strong track record of improving outcomes for pupils.
  • Expertise in safeguarding and statutory responsibilities.
  • The ability to build strong, supportive relationships with staff, pupils, and families.
