Deputy Head Teacher job summary

Spalding Parish Church of England Day School are delighted to have recently joined the Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust (LAAT), a family of 16 schools brought together by a shared vision to improve the life chances of all our children through excellence, exploration and encouragement within a distinct Christian ethos.
As our new Deputy Headteacher, you’ll have strategic responsibility for key aspects of school improvement linked to your strengths and the needs of the school. You’ll bring excellent curriculum knowledge and high expectations to the role as well as the ability to motivate and inspire pupils and staff in equal measure.
This is a non-class-based role, but you’ll undoubtedly be an outstanding practitioner who’s able to support the development of staff. Above all, you’ll be willing to embrace new ideas and work collaboratively within the LAAT local hub and wider family of schools to realise sustainable, positive change for the children and families we serve.
