Deputy Head Teacher job summary

We are looking for a practising Catholic who: • has a clear vision and understanding of Catholic education and a commitment to promote the catholic ethos throughout the whole school community • is highly motivated with proven leadership skills and experience of successfully leading aspects of school improvement • has excellent management and interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, challenge and inspire staff so that all children experience the best possible Catholic education • who is a proven outstanding classroom practitioner and able to set an example of excellent classroom practice, demonstrating a commitment to high expectations of all children’s attainment and behaviour • will work in partnership with the Head Teacher, staff, parents, parish, governors and the wider community to continue the school’s journey as a ‘beacon of excellence’ for Catholic Education
