Deputy Head Teacher job summary

This is an exciting time to be joining our school, as our new headteacher will be starting at the same time. This role is an opportunity to contribute your ideas and develop the school together. There will be a 40% teaching commitment which may decrease over time.

About the successful candidate:

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills and a deep knowledge of teaching strategies and pedagogy. They will be able to support colleagues in progression and planning of the curriculum. We are seeking a leader who is approachable, a clear communicator who is good at building relationships with staff, children and parents and is committed to evidence-based practice.
