What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors of Loreto High School Chorlton seek to appoint a highly effective, motivated and ambitious leader to join our school. Working closely together with the Headteacher and the other members of the Senior Leadership Team, the Deputy Headteacher will aim to secure the success and continual improvement of Loreto High School Chorlton and ensure a high quality, inclusive education for all students. We are looking to appoint someone who can bring outstanding leadership qualities and evidence of real and sustained positive impact in their current role and who is excited to contribute to the next stage of our journey and will drive forward the Governors’ and Loreto Trust Board’s vision for the improvement of the school. They will lead the development, implementation and review of school systems and processes ensuring they are effective in allowing our students to flourish academically and develop into confident, articulate, respectful, successful and happy young people.
We are an aspirational, reflective and supportive learning community where all adults are learners who strive rigorously for excellence in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for our students and make a real difference in their lives. Importantly, we recognise that looking after, valuing and empowering staff is a foundation for our success.
This role will suit an enthusiastic and resilient individual who enjoys working as part of a team and will provide the opportunity to excel in a supportive environment. The successful candidate will be self-aware, open to development and believe, like we do, that ‘feedback is a gift’.
