What skills and experience we're looking for

UTC Swindon looking to welcome a colleague to join our leadership team who has aspiration and a can-do attitude. This is an exciting leadership position for a candidate with a STEM background and a passion for education with an industry focus.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into Senior Leadership and lead on professional learning on pedagogy.

You will be a dynamic individual with middle leader experience and a proven track record of raising attainment in a STEM subject. You will be passionate about research-informed curriculum delivery and confident in coaching colleagues, imparting expertise through exemplary role modelling your own practice.

The role has a strong teaching and learning focus with a requiring the successful candidate to embed Rosenshein principles and research-based practice to raise standards across the school. A focus on high quality teaching and behaviour for learning is more important than subject specialism, alongside a commitment to our specialisms in Digital Technologies and Engineering.

UTC Swindon is in a period of growth and with the backing and support of employers both locally and nationally, we deliver a specialised STEM curriculum that provides students an excellent grounding to move on to prestigious destinations.
