Deputy Headteacher and SENCo job summary

Due to the retirement of our valued Deputy Head, we now wish to appoint a motivated, energetic and inspiring professional. Our ideal candidate must be an excellent classroom practitioner, who is child centred and also has the appropriate skills, experience and personal drive to effectively undertake this key role in our School Leadership Team, which will include leading SEND provision across the school. They must also be fully committed to Queen’s Park Infant Academy’s ethos of high expectations for all children and have proven experience of positively impacting on pupil progress to raise attainment. You will have a key role in helping us shape and fulfil our shared vision for the school, in promoting an inclusive culture that is respectful, nurturing and aspiring. There may be an occasional amount of teaching required within this role.
