What skills and experience we're looking for
Sussex Learning Trust are seeking to appoint a motivated and professional individual to fulfil the duties of the Deputy Head of Billingshurst Primary Academy and support the Headteacher and the leadership team to provide vision, leadership and direction for the academy and ensure that the school is managed and organised to meet the aims and values which have been established by all stakeholders.
We are looking for someone with:
A professional level of interaction with colleagues and the ability to establish and maintain productive relationships to lead, motivate, support, challenge and develop staff to secure improvement
High ambition with the aim of continually improving the quality of teaching and learning in the academy
A proven understanding of the roles of others in the academy and supporting them in fulfilling these roles
Excellent relationships with children and a real love of the job
