Deputy Headteacher job summary
The Prospere Learning Trust are seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspirational and innovative Deputy Head to join our senior leadership team at CHS South.
The successful candidate will provide excellent leadership and management to embed the vision and values of the Trust and to secure the highest possible outcomes for students across the school.
We are looking for an outstanding teacher with a proven track record of excellent leadership skills, an absolute commitment to inclusive education and a passion for making a difference to children's lives. Main purpose of the job:
In addition to those professional responsibilities which are common to all classroom teachers in the school, the post holder’s key responsibilities will be:
To provide excellent leadership and management to embed the vision and values of the Trust and to secure the highest possible outcomes for students across the school
To take full responsibility for the school in the absence of the Headteacher
To take full responsibility for leading and managing significant aspects of the school under the overall direction of the Headteacher.

CHS South was opened in September 2018 to allow more young people in our community to access the successful model developed at our oversubscribed sister school, Chorlton High School. This model ensures we provide an education built on the values of offering every young person we encounter the skills necessary to craft a creative, happy and successful future.
In September 2021 we moved into our brand new building to enjoy all of its facilities, including a brand new theatre!.
