Cotgrave Candleby Lane School is a part of the Flying High Partnership. As the founding school, the vision and culture of Flying High is at the centre of all that the school does. As Deputy Head teacher you work in partnership with Claire Lindsay, senior leaders and the central team to ensure that Cotgrave Candleby Lane school flourishes as a unique, exceptional, and sustainable school that inspires the community and empowers every child.
At the heart of Flying High is growing our people, and through this role you will receive considerable support and investment to ultimately realise your ambition to become a Head teacher.
The Role:
Support the Head teacher to deliver a vision an ambitious vision for every child.
Act up in the absence of the Head teacher, 2 days per week.
Work alongside Claire Lindsay, Head Teacher and System Leader, to grow and develop as a leader equipped to progress onto Headship.
Contribute to the strategic direction and development of the school.
Lead and manage staff to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
Foster a positive and inclusive school culture.
